Workshop & training schedule template
A full-day workshop or training schedule you can copy, edit, and hand participants as a link. Works for corporate L&D, professional development days, technical trainings, and small workshops — swap the modules with your own content.
Example schedule — a full-day workshop
Below is a realistic 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM training day. The rhythm — intros, two morning modules, lunch, hands-on practice, and a debrief — fits most workshop formats with 12–30 participants.

What to include
Module titles
Specific beats generic — "Applied Techniques" gives participants a preview, "Module 2" does not.
Facilitator
Lead vs. co-facilitator matters when participants have questions between sessions.
Breaks
Real training days need one mid-morning break and one mid-afternoon. Don't skip them to fit more content.
Hands-on time
Adult learners retain more when practice follows content. Block real time for it — 45+ minutes.
Debrief
Reserve 20–30 minutes at the end for Q&A and next steps. Trainings without a debrief feel unfinished.
Room or setup
Training room, breakout space, lounge. Include it so participants and AV know where to go.

Repeat the same columns across days and use the Date column to separate them. The generated event page splits days automatically, so a two-day certification stays organized.
Breakout tracks
For workshops with parallel practice groups, put each track on its own row with the same start time and a different room. Participants pick one before the day starts.
Common questions
How long should a workshop day be?
A full training day usually runs 6 to 7 hours of content plus breaks — start around 9:00 AM, wrap by 4:30 PM. Longer days push past adult attention limits; shorter days work if you cut modules, not breaks.
What should a workshop schedule include?
Welcome and introductions, two to three content modules, hands-on practice, mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks, lunch, and a debrief with next steps. List times, facilitators, and rooms so participants know what's next.
How do I share the schedule with participants?
A public web page works better than a printed handout — participants can pull it up on their laptop or phone. ScheduleWeaver turns a spreadsheet into that page for a one-time $49. No logins for attendees.
