Church event schedule template
A clean, one-day church event schedule you can copy, edit, and share. Whether it's a men's retreat, a women's conference, a revival, or a youth weekend — swap the sessions with your own and hand attendees a real link instead of a paper handout.
Example schedule — a one-day retreat
Below is a realistic layout for a Saturday retreat or single-day conference. The rhythm — worship, teaching, breakouts, meals, and a closing service — works for most church events.

| 11:00 AM | Breakout: Marriage & Family | Elder Ruth Alvarez | Room 201 |
| 11:00 AM | Breakout: Serving Well | Deacon James Park | Room 203 |
| 12:15 PM | Lunch & Fellowship | — | Fellowship Hall |
| 1:30 PM | Small Group Discussion | Group Leaders | Various Rooms |
| 3:00 PM | Closing Service & Communion | Pastor David Kim | Sanctuary |
What to include
Session or service title
"Opening Worship" and "Communion Service" are clearer than "Session 1".
Speaker or worship leader
One name or a comma-separated list. Include guest speakers and worship teams.
Location
Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, room number. Essential when breakouts happen in parallel.
Breakouts & small groups
List parallel sessions on their own rows with the same start time. Attendees pick one.
Meals & breaks
Fellowship time is part of the event. Put lunch and coffee breaks on the schedule.
Short description
One or two sentences on the topic or scripture focus for each session.

Running parallel small groups or workshops? Give each one its own row with the same start time and different rooms. The generated page stacks them so attendees can compare before picking.
Weekend retreats
For Friday-through-Sunday events, keep the columns identical across days. The Date column decides which day each session appears under.
Common questions
What should a church event schedule include?
Worship, teaching, breakouts or small groups, meals, and a closing service. List times, speakers, and rooms so attendees know where to be. Include registration, prayer time, and any children's programming as separate rows.
How do I share the schedule with the congregation?
A public web page works better than a paper handout — it updates in one place and opens on any phone. ScheduleWeaver turns a spreadsheet into that page for a one-time $49. No logins for attendees.
Can I use this for a multi-day retreat?
Yes. Repeat the same columns across days and use the Date column to separate them. The generated event page splits days automatically, so a Friday-through-Sunday retreat stays skimmable on mobile.
